Thanks Gregs dad as that statue been moved i also remember another statue of a poor family close by or some where rond that area i will have to sought out them photos
We also went on the bus tour and got off to take photos of us both with Elanor Rigby....great fab

The Emigrants (statue), Albert Dock, LiverpoolA bronze sculpture by Mark De Graffenried, 2001. This statue of a young family commemorates migration from Liverpool to the new world. It was given to the people of Liverpool by the Mormon Church as a tribute to the many families from all over Europe who embarked on a brave and pioneering voyage from Liverpool to start a new life in America. Crabs are what go scurrying under rocks,that one in the pic is a King Crab...when I was fishing over the side of the Tynwald moored out in Fleetwood because of low tide and engine repairs, I heard this chinking sound,looked over the side and there was this huge red king crab climbing the anchor chain,tried to gaff it with a home made gaff but it was just too short soI went looking for a longer pole on the boat and by the time I'd got back to it the crab had vanished :( would have made a nice meal.Quote:
