i was there from 1 o clock till 5 with my wife and her mate, some of these blokes were 6foot 8inches in high heels and long frocks with faces like a welders glove,but all in all it was a fun (gay) day free entertainment plenty off booze and the wether was great. i didnt want to be the odd one out so i wore a pink shirt

I just phoned Brian Daley in hospital. He is having Physio, trying to climb stairs etc. very tiring, lost a lot of weight, five stones, 70 pounds, still on medication. but is optimistic. Been in for three months now and is getting a little tired of it all. He welcomes phone calls.

Spoke to Brian on Friday - he may just get out of hospital in the next week.
I spoke to Brian yesterday, he is feeling a little better and a bit fed up of being confined to a hospital. He is getting physio to try to increase his strength.
I am glad to hear me old mate Brian is on the mend , i sent an email to Jo but was very worried when there was no reply, i wish my old school chum a very speedy recovery

Bob Fairley from Canada phoned me today, He is in Wallasey and said he would be in the ELDONIAN CLUB this coming Thursday afternoon.

Just spoken to Brian again. Some alterations are being made to his house for when they finally grant him a pardon and let him out of hospital.
He's still hoping to have a do in the Liverpool Arms late June/esrly July.

I have just been talking to Brian.
He hopes to be out of hospital next Monday.
He said he is wanting to have a meet up of friends in The Liverpool on James Street, next to the station. on either Wednesday 1st of July or Wednesday
8th July in the Afternoon.next.which ever is most convenient . He is coming up with Clancy and staying overnight.

Well, what an eventful few days.
Managed to have a pint with Kevin yesterday in the Crowne Plaza and have spoken to Brian tonite twice on the phone, the 1st time was interupted by his medicine time.
Brian informed me of a few incidents whilst he has been recovering that have inspired more creative writing and I can't wait to read them!
Looking forward to the meetup in Liverpool, more details will be posted soon I'm sure.
