Whitefield House on the corner of Ingoe Lane and Whitefield Drive in Kirkby
built in 1701 with some additions in 1770, Early in the 1900`s it was divided into 2 dwellings with the right hand part becoming the farmhouse of the Pigeon House farm.
The top window looks like it is in the chimney flue. Must be the sweeps room!
One is allowed to smoke in there. Great pic and find GD.
Am I just being an old-a5se, thinking the picture is spoilt by the satellite dish?
