heres a couple of supersized photos, or of Ark Royal while moored (taken from Seacombe) and a second of the Grand Princess a it passed by Egremonnt Ferry on the way out of Liverpool. Hope these are in the correct section.
You can see the joins if you look, but the Grand Princess one was VERY difficult to stitch due to it moving, and affecting the light. But it looks OK...:D
The photos here are just smaller 'thumbnails', for the full sizes click the links..

The Captain is back on station again in front of the new Liverpool Life museum. He now looks across the river to Birkenhead where he can see his old enemy the German U-boat 534 at Woodside.
It looks like a WW2 Liberty ship.
Good to see Captain Walker back where he belongs. Anybody read a book called Walker, R.N. by Terence Robertson? Printed in 1956 it's a right cracking read.

The Empire State was built in 1962. No wonder it looks like a WW2 Liberty Ship.

The tug Trafalgar moving about on the river, they all seem to be owned by Mr Smit these days as all the names are prefixed with his name.
