I'm not very observant at all!
I walked into the forecourt of the Abattoir to take a photo of that place, and then took a photo of the Old Stanley over the road, and didn't even notice the 'new' Stanley!
I then walked past the church and thought there were too many trees in the way to take a photo, and then I did Cheadle Avenue.

Interesting old pub but I can't say I think too much of its two tone exterior paint job. Perhaps that's as far as the ladder would reach.
Here's a reminder of what the building used to look like, when it was supposed to be a "Grot-spot".
Couldn't they see that the signage was the only distinctive thing about the building?

I just noticed that the Aigburth Arms pub has changed its name to "Victoria". Anybody know why? It is in Victoria Road of course but I don't think that is sufficient reason :)
