Liverpool Gateway
Ocean Gateway
Liverpool Ocean Gateway then - a ring to it like Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
Something telling the world, not just Manchester/Brum/Leeds who all think they're bigger and better than us that it's Liverpool's and you've gotta mention the name - it's extravagant - something those land-locked places could only dream about.
Liverpool George Harrison Ocean Gateway
A very disingenuous reply for sure. If you have, as you state, little interest in politics why comment at all? Replying, as you have to a political post, takes far more effort to type and post than does a mouse click on the link that would add to your knowledge of the person and period discussed. Like I said lindylou, a very disingenuous reply, IMHO.
I never normally reply to political discussions - you won't find much from me in the politics thread.
I was just commenting that they were not popular with everybody, not every Liverpudlian voted for them - I can remember a lot of people who were against.
As they have nicked his park name it after Noel Godfrey Chavasse

Hehe... has anyone put a bet on Heather's leg flying off while she's dancing? :unibrow: :unibrow: :unibrow:
Does that show air in the uk?
She has done amazingly well so far. :PDT_Aliboronz_24:
Only in the bookies apparently, you often see blokes walking out shaking their heads whilst ripping betting slips up.
If you want to see Heather's leg fly off;

Fine pictures Kev. Anybody know when the new landing stage is being put in place?
:034:
I heard they'll start in May. I'll pop into Canada Dock on Tuesday and see how work is progressing. Thanks to Marky for telling me in February what this was all about in my pic. I hadn't a clue at the time.
Here's a DP link from 22/03 about the cruise liner landing stage.

And they revealed the multi-million pound facility would bear a simple and straightforward name – the City of Liverpool Cruise Terminal.
