That's a very good view SD - seeing the buildings from another prospective, ie; the flats at the back of, or should I say - to the side of, 'The Blackie.'
Also the flats and houses by the cathedral. There's a sheltered accomodation there for the elderly Chinese community, it's called 'Chung Kok House' - looking at the picture, I think it's the oval set of buildings .. (there's a blue van parked in the centre).
I was 14, and the camera was a Box Brownie. :)
Great pics, everyone! Thanks for sharing them with us.
Chris
Thanks, Chaps.
Unfortunately, I didn't take many views in those days.
Just family and friends.
I love old photies. :)

Bloody hell Dave, that's excellent! Did Snappel give you a piggyback up? :handclap:
Hope you took some sandwiches. Looks like you had quite a wait. :)
Excellent stuff! Pretty good up there isn't it? I could happily have sat back with a beer and admired that view for hours...
Fine pictures, SD.

I'm up for it if you are. I'll bring the crisps:celb (23):
BTW, I was around the Dockers Clock (Victoria Tower) on Tuesday. I was tempted to take one of the boards off and explore, seeing as it was only screwed in, but I didn't have the time. You'll require a Phillip's screwdriver:unibrow:

Honest officer, it wasn't me who smashed the window - it was probably that Snappel fellow and his mates:)

From Liverpool Cathedral - not the top but a hidden door you're not normally allowed to go through :celb (23):
The buildings still stretch when I try a panorama.
A rival to Snappel, Never!:Colorz_Grey_PDT_16:
I did a panorama version of my sunset but that was easy since It still looks good If It's stretched.
