Does anyone know how RMJM's planning application for plot 3a is getting on. I know that CABE ****ged it off, but I have heard nothing since! They hoped to have it approved by october, but it was delayed because of CABES' recommendations.
Hi AK1, I had a look here http://www.rmjm.com/....The Architects...but they had the same info....Maybe the 'Mersey Property Co Ltd.' could tell you more?.....Cheers..Ken.

Any news on plot 3a yet?
A decision should be coming out shortly. All the consultation stuff has been completed.

.....nice pic Dave
I work in Princes Dock, and there has been quite a bit of activity this week.
There has been a strange looking raft type thing with 4 columns at each corner, it is now stationed in front of the CRB.
hmmm maybe!
i took some pics on my phone, but i dont have bluetooth, so i shall have to try and get em on here later.
what's that building under construction on the far right of the frame?
hi dave
i dont think it is a ship.
it is more like a platform...although it has moved along the river!
Sorry they are the worst pics ever!
but they were taken on my crappy phone!
Maybe a drilling rig...there's been one around test drilling for a couple of years around that area. I don't know how these are transported on water. See if it looks anything like this:
Thanks Marky :037::PDT_Aliboronz_24:
Here's a render of plot 3a with the Beethams in the background,go to portfolio and then mixed use.It looks brilliant but CABE critisised it and EH said maybe it should be split into two smaller towers what's up with these people it's fantastic?

Alexandra Tower last week.

Apart from Brunswick Tower at a bend in the river, no real talls should be on the river front or docks. The buildings should step up with the very tall way behind. It is too tall crowding out those behind.

LIVERPOOL’S Malmaison is set to be stylish and sumptuous but designers have also paid tribute to the city’s three most important icons - The Beatles, The Liver Birds and football. more
I think the Malmaison Hotel looks great! A really unique design of the highest quality. A great addition to our waterfront! The number of unique buildings going up in Liverpool is amazing. Many other cities have similair looking buildings but Liverpool has a truly amazing selection of buildings that you really want to look at such as Unity, Beethams, Malmaison, Alexandra etc etc. Liverpool has always been a unique city and these new developments are keeping us unique, not making us look like just another city. Long may it continue!!!:celb (23):
^^:PDT_Piratz_26: ^^
There is nothing special about any of them. None are iconic. Unity is about the best. Beethams are plain. The only decent building planned was Brunswick Quay, the rest are anywhere buildings
I wish I shared your view. I wish that was the case.Quote:
