The lighting, on the girl's face, as well as on the picture-taker's hands and back, make this photo what it is - just lovely.

If the sea were sand, as could easily be imagined, we would then have a photograph of the ruins of some city of antiquity, Ur or Babylon. Magic. :)

Nice shot of the fine former Harrison Line HQ. I walked past the building one night just before Christmas after a carol service at St Nick's and the frontage was beautifully floodlit. I guess you're back home for a while.
