They might have been chillblains in which case go and see the quack.
yeah, I looked up the spelling. Not something I actually needed to spell when I was a youngster ;) They're not that bad really, so just gotta keep me hands warm and lubricated lol
The cold exposure damages capillary beds in the skin, which in turn can cause redness, itching, blisters, and inflammation.[2] Chilblains are often idiopathic in origin but can be manifestations of serious medical conditions that need to be investigated. Chilblains can be prevented by keeping the feet and hands warm in cold weather. A history of chilblains is suggestive of a connective tissue disease.
oh well, I'm gonna die lol
Don't be silly....the worst senario is your fingers will drop off...keep themin your pocket by yer best mate.
I always rub me nose frequently in cold weather stops me gettin a cold...cos thats where the cold eminates from at the start.

St. Anthony's church and the Throstles Nest public house.
One serves communion wine, the other, Blossom Hill.
Thanks, Ged. There's a 1930s view of the Throstles Nest pub on Flickr. Interesting to see the different look to the outside of the pub back then.

Lime Street railway station of the night.
Wow. That's some wide angled lens innit. Tripod jobby as well was it. All my night shots are blurred :)
Cracking shot. Love the colours and the windows of the old railway hotel. The blue tint from the screen and the Adelphi sign is so clear.
