Yes , we were very poor ya know !

My dad still uses "bob" quite often. It used to confuse me as a kid. He'd say "I'll give you 15 bob" which I thought at the time was a good few pennies.
What was wrong with a quid ?

My dad is the same, but he often pulls a twenty out. If only he'd of done that when I was younger and needed it.

Ahh yes the Twenty , they think it's hundreds , i used to get money off my dad when i was younger , he's say 'don't tell ya mother ' and my mum would say the same thing , funny they never would tell each other how much they had , imagine going near our mothers purse ! I'd have been murdered , mine just get my bag now when they need money ..

This is what happens when they no longer "Pump Iron",the muscles go limp and the flab...well as you can see.
