The duck in the Albert Dock
Africa Oye concert in Sefton Park, Liverpool. It was superb. Large numbers turned out today and there's more on Sunday
Looks good, probably sounds better, a good way of building good relationships between different cultures.
I spoke to a guy this morning who had travelled from Walsall in the West Midlands to see it.
Can only do good things to raise the profile of Liverpool and Merseyside.
Any more pics please.

William Brown Street as you emerge from the Mersey Tunnel, with the museum,
library, and art gallery in a line.
Excellent pic, GD. That roundabout looks so out of place
Looks like the leaning Tower of Pisa.
Stone Street, Prescot near Liverpool. Reputedly the narrowest street in England. Incidentally Liverpool's address was once, Liverpool, near Prescot. How times have changed.

For Lenka
believe it or not but...
Sometimes council white collar works look at ordenance survey maps in the office and decide whats a street from there.
Cantril Farm erm! Stockbridge Village on its begining or start has a 18" roundabout(for christ sake how silly is that) and its origin was decided by the above method outlined...how do I know this? Because I knew a bloke who worked in the planning department and some of the stories he told me where just unbelievable but were true.

Go to Sat mode and find the begining of "Waterpark Drive" and "Mab Lane",Zoom right in and you'll see the roundabout and the small dot in the middle is the 18" cobbled stone. :)
You're right Scouse, you are weird. :)

Give me those hazy, lazy crazy days of summer. The kids enjoying the fountains of Liverpool 1 today
Brilliant picture but just how long before some "jobsworth" will come and stop them having fun.
As the whole of the Liverpool One development is on private land controlled by Grosvenor Estates I think there is probably less chance of "jobsworth" interference than might have been the case if the fountains were on a public highway under local authotity jurisdiction.
