If development wasn't totally profit orientated this area could be made into a a nice little mini nature reserve and leisure spot.

It is better as a deep water dock with tall ships and visiting and historic berthed in it.

The Dock this morning as the boats are getting ready for the Honda Power Boat Race. There's a great atmosphere down there despite the heavy showers.

Put the macro setting on.
I've taken photos of a spider today, and cropped one photo.
It's in the 'Macro' thread.

Well Atany,
the superdooper camera I got for Christmas, still languishes in it's box, though I did use it once, but it would only let me take 6 pic's, due to the high resolution level! I'll figure it out eventually!:)

yes a horrible spider. But the leaf is nice.
And I had switched on the macro-function already.

but you can chop down the resolution or buy a better memory card.

Oh so is thaaaaat what that building is.. my wife used to work next door in the NHS building and I'd always wondered, thought it was an old school. Shame it's derelict - are there any plans for it?

Queen Victoria visited it 1886 (she stayed at the Judge's residence on Judge's Drive). I heard it was to be demolished and apartments built on the site. Don't know if that is going to happen though. I could tell you a few stories about the place that would make your hair stand on end...:shock:

^ I don't know who did the sculpture. The tree was cut down about 4 years ago, I think. It used to be surrounded by its' own railings, all on its' own.

Liverpool was full of buildings like this. Very few are left. No one ever thought of converting them to apartments until pretty recently.

If this was sand blasted it would look superb.
