Ah, Merseywail, so nice to wallow in the past. Especially Kirkby Station with the Aintree Loco water softening plant in the background! I used to travel on the Wigan line, when it was a proper railway!

A very rare site of Liverpool Central Low Level well before merseyrail took over this would be used to reach wirral through the now disused Liverpool Central to James Street tunnel

:handclap: thank you. was going to try and get the old tunnel over the wall but wasn't sure how I was going to do it. I go past there regularly to my doctors and was wondering how the line ran from the back of Marsh Lane police station to there with the canal.Quote:
