We did have a good night about three weeks ago in McHale's Irish bar by The Crown in Lime Street. It was a Friday night and when we got in there about 8.30 it was pretty quiet, but by 9 it was packed. There was a good singer on and we're gonna go back. The Dock Hotel, Freeman Street, Bhd This sits at the bottom of Corporation Road and is next to the now defunct dock railway. The A554 Tower Road is on the other side of the railway and provides a link between Seacombe and Woodside. Watson Street is to the right and runs upto Conway Street and Charing Cross (via Rendell Street)

The North Western, Cleveland Street, Bhd Still going strong despite the fact that most of it's old neighbourhood has been cleared and built on with new housing.
Hope you enjoyed this part of Birkenhead; It was certainly a pleasure to walk round en-route home to Liscard.
