That's a view you don't often see...Great pic PhilipG.
Incidently, Has anyone noticed that if you stand outside the Barcelona (New Quiggins) on Renshaw street and look towards St Lukes...The Cathedral and St Lukes are right next to one another and are the same size!
If I had a camera I'd take a pic of that!
Or has it been done already?
That's an unusual view Philip, very nice :)
Thanks, folks.
It's from St Johns car park, but a security man stopped me.
I'd only managed to take a few.
I was pleased with Williamson Square, which I've put in today's POTD.
Klaatu.
I've posted this photo here, somewhere, but I've forgotten where.

Wow!...great pics...makes you feel proud!
Same thing has happened to me in the Birkenhead Shopping Center.
Two security has followed me all the time ,when I noticed , played game with them, acted more suspiciosly on purpose then went to toilet..When I come out they were waiting for me..:)
They reminded me the Shopping Center rules kindly.
I told them I didn't want to leave my camera in the car, just incase it get stolen, that is the reason I am carrying with me,I did not come here to take photos..
They said okey sir,we beleive you ,we just let you know shopping center rules .
I carried away wondering in the shopping center
They followed me till I get in the car and drove off:)
Thats the Pyramids for you!!!!
The new apartment block being built at the top of Holt Hill in Tranmere will offer some impressive views once completed! Might be an idea to go one day!
Great shots everyone!
Good Morning everyone..

Dear Sefik Akkurt,
Many thanks for sending us your weather picture.
Your picture has been selected by our Producer and will be shown tonight during the weather part of our Programme.
Many thanks
Lynsey
Brilliant mate, well done. i'll keep an eye out for that!
Kebabman, I saw your picture on Granada weather :PDT11
due to the height of the trees on the school field at the bottom of our garden I don't see sunsets like this anymore.

Inspired by other peoples work, I thought I'd have a go after playing around with me camera this evening! It's been a learning curve but I am quite chuffed with some of the results. If you don't have a tripod...walls, railings, fences, postboxes and bus stops are good things to lean on. I even had a go on a traffic bollard!

St Albans Road, Liscard A little burred as I was leant on a seat at the time...it was angled toward the sky! Not the direction I wanted!

Belvidere Field, Liscard A final look over to St Hillary's Church from Belvidere Field.
Somewhat of a different take on night photography; I must say it was quite enjoyable walking round Liscard taking pics; it's not something I've ever done before!
Kebabman: Your waterfront views are exceedingly good...Like yourself, I get to see similar views everyday...but from the 409 in Seacombe (potentially one of the best bus routes in the Wirral!) Keep up the good work mate! I must pay a visit to your eatery at some point! If your food's as good as your photography, i'll be in for a treat!
well done. :handclap: I've tried the night scenery setting on mine, but like you said it's finding summat stable to put the camera on.
when there's a lot of light about I can get reasonable pics on my intelligent setting. (that's the camera , not me by the way )
like these two...not very seasonal, but it's night
