I think they should do, what with the targetted recruitment they are doing in Kenny, Walton, Garston etc.

Mind you, a few outside of the city will help too. People coming in to work will also come in to spend. The scousers are already here so may be spending already if they work elsewhere in the city.

does anyone know what bits of that area were bombed in 1941-could it have included park lane/dickenson street??? Just trying to corroborate a story that the old curio pub was bombed and a child was killed in the bombing????

A Liverpool FC club store is to open in the new devlopment, I'm not sure if this is to complement or replace the existing Williamson Square store. They are recruiting staff now although its not on the L1 site yet.

It'll be a replacement in the long-term I imagine as the whole of the existing Williamson sq block is being converted as part of the St John's Centre upgrade.

i love this building dose anyone know what it was originally for:question:

I'm sure I went to a club in the basement of this building in the late '70s, early '80s.
It was a heavy metal type gaff called Oscar's at one time with live bands but changed to a normal nightclub. think it shut around the mid '80s.

Nice to see Hanover Street beginning to open up!
