Cheers folks, I liked one of my other ones best, Willaimson Square with the merry go round and tower but it wouldn't upload.

Ged are you sure it wasn't a Tom Slemen convention instead?

to quote from your site "There seems to have been a passion for blue LED lights over the last couple of years and very nice they look too in my opinion."

Noticed these blue lights as we were driving into the city in October. . . We were coming in from the M62 along Edge Lane way.

    Thanks for the comments folks.

Chris, the old Everton water tower has a striking UFO effect of blue/purplish lights and can be seen for miles. There's also the Beetham tower red and blue lights, likewise seen for some distance. You get a cracking view of the city lights from the Everton Park viewpoint. Then there's the big wheel, Churchill way flyovers as well as the rocket, numerous takeaways with them, pubs and clubs, St Johns gardens trees, hotels and now ordinary housing with blue l.e.d. downlighters.

I like the way the lamposts along the main road have the name Edge Lane down the sides of them in little blue lights.
Did you notice them Chris ?

    Hi Lindy

Yes that's one of the things I noticed when I was in the 'Pool in October.

Ged, is this an intentionally coordinated effort or just coincidence that blue l.e.d. lights have been used around town in different locations?

It's just a show of strength by the city's Evertonians Chris. I believe you can find red l.e.d. lights in Oslo, Dublin and Belfast.
