    It led me to a pic of the Cavern Gerard

    You're so right bluejeans, I haven't even posted any pics from the Global City gallery as I couldn't get in there for the crowds so will do that another day but the bit I glimpsed tells you why we are revered worldwide. When the overhead railway mock up and carriage are unveiled - and the Lion locomotive, there is sure to be another influx of interested people, especially those of course with a passion for trains. Then there is the port city - which really is a taster for the Maritime museum. If you have kids I expect the Little Liverpool feature will be a must. All in all - It's the improvement on the Museum of liverpool Life just in that the building and new plaza created are attractions in themselves.

    Sorry about that Ged, I click it and I get the POL building from the roof of the
    ferry terminal new building.. strange that, dont know whats going on there.

    Anybody else get the Cavern from that link.. ?

    Here's an example.....

    Me as an artist copying a dramatic painting from the 16th century of a group of people and putting a person in a suite from the 20th century into the same painting....it does not work it looks stupid.

    Not suprised though George, some of these new buildings are really ugly.

    Never mind....it will have its use in the future when the space shuttle becomes the norm....roof will make a great expulsion ramp.
