I had a M8 that worked a Hughes & Ellison, just down by Chinatown, A metal fabricating plant, He used to tell everyone that Billy worked there for a while. Any truth in that?

My 2006 Old Merseyside calendar I bought in St John's bookstore appears to have a typo on it. It reads for April 17th: '1959 - Singer Billy Fury born in the Dingle, Liverpool' !

That is very sad. I knew both brothers as Ronnie and Albert Wyncherley. You couldn't hope to meet nicer people. Albert of course is still alive but I have not seen him for a long while.

My son shares the same birthday as Billy Fury, but my son is obviously younger.
