There was an amazing Xenx piece at the 2006 Hub Festival. I'll dig out some photos when I get a moment.

Well, yes, Matchstick Man, but it also looks there's a swastika in there too.

Yes, I think it's a reversed swastika. I've seen a couple of genuine symbols around on walls, but I haven't seen one incorporated into a picture like this. It's just a pic of graffiti to me.

Islington (between petrol station and Gildart street).
The paint has run on this example of stencil art, but I can still make out the image of Winston Churchill ?
I see stencil art all over the place, but I wonder if they are all unique...I don't think I've seen the same image in two different locations.

Hey, thought I'd post this here since its loosely grafitti related..

Does anyone know the story behind those faces on the pink plates dotted around the place? I'll get a photo sometime, but its a white face (that looks a bit like the KFC colonel) pulling tongues on a pink diamond-shaped plate type thing.

I've found one on Arrad Street (that side street off Hope Street), one by the Choices and Tescos on Smithdown Road, and two by the railway bridge that crosses over Smithdown just by the Mystery.

If anyone knows anything about them please tell me. It's been bothering me for ages.

Pete Doherty stencil (public footpath that runs to the rear of Kenyon Road). I was going to snap the John Lennon, Penny Lane stencil but it has been painted over since last week.
