Very interesting story of how I managed to land in Oxford, but thats probably not for this thread.......
    Gilly,
I bet loads of Away supporters have memories of the bottom end of Scottie in the early 70s when they walked back to Limey, especially that hill This is no reflection on the Scottie community, as all the Red and Blue troublemakers came from the outlying housing estates.

I remember the incline on Chaucer st,we used to get a roller skate, put some wood across it,then sit on it and go down the hill !!!!!!!!
We would play for hours at this, then come home cut and bruised, but hey.........we were back to the game the next day,
    Ohh,loverly memories

    Thanks Mandy..glad you like them.

I will be the 1st to admit though that they are not the best Quality photos..
I had only just got my 1st Computer and never had a clue what I was doing to be honest,,not a single lesson..just harrishing my Lad "How do I do this".."How do I do that"..I genuinely tried to make it to the best quality that I could..
Its only the last few months to be Honest that I've been on here that I've learnt about proper photography and techniques..
And that is all down to Scouser Dave...Thank you Dave.

Anyway..thats why Im only charging a tenner for it..and its well worth it !!

A couple of my old pics taken around Cazneau St.

Gerard mate, can you date the pub pic? Just thinking the "For Sale" sign may give a clue. I think it may have been taken about 10 years ago.

I'd say that photo was taken about 6/8 years ago at the most Dave..
I can remember though the for sale sign was up for years so it could have been a bit longer.
My Brother's mate's Mum had that Pub and it was affectionately known as Ginnie Melody's..
They have been best mates since they were about 3 weeks old and Rrrr kid now works for K.C who has his own building firm.
I've had a few good sessions in there I can tell yer mate..Lol.
