The TITANIC SANK 98 YEARS ago today 15 April 1912.
On the 96th anniversary, two years ago, 2008, I was on QE2 and we stopped directly above the TITANIC.
We had a Service on the Afterdeck and two wreaths were cast into the sea. It was raining, and very windy. The nearest iceberg then was 25 miles away. An unusal experience to be directly above the Titanic on the anniversary. The photo shows the service.
Nice one guys.
Crowds await news of the Titanic in and around the Strand and James Street Liverpool.

.
Thanks Ged, brilliant photos ! I'm always fascinated seeing folk from so long ago, and wondering what their lives were like. That little baby in the middle pic - you wonder how life turned out for them.
