    Can't vouch for the accuracy but the details are as follows:-
    1st pic; self explanatory!
    2nd: Schwepps, British Oxygen, Bass & Co Burton on Trent, Tizer.
    3rd: John Smiths Beer, Ovaltine, Ever Ready, Oxydol, Cherry Blossom.
    4th: Golden Shred, Grand Hotel, County Borough of Doncaster Bus, Leyland Paints, Fords.

    Also another firm who delivered beer, called Armstrongs had an open back wagon with a rigid tailboard which displayed an arm clutching a dagger on the back.

    I was interested to read about lorries with a figure in full Indian headdress. It sounds very much like vehicles built by 'Guy.' I am a huge fan of buses and know that Guy also made lorries. I saw a Guy Arab bus at a show in Essex last week and just happened to take a photo of the mascot. I shall post a photo of it here and perhaps it will jog the memory of the original poster. I think that it might originally have had a brassy effect and that the colours were added later.

    Just asked my father about Blacklers vehicles - he was Mrs Blacklers Godson and he seems to remember them being predominantly green with either some yellow or some black.

    Does anyone remember this firms lorries, I need to know what colour they were painted if possible.
    The museum have one in storage but no colour details.
