    yes, that's it - souless.

The people are on a different planet. Ha,ha. Can't explain it, they seem to be in a world of their own - a bit cut off, and don't seem to be involved or aware of life outside of Maghull !

My nan's brother moved there before the war and brought up his family there. It was quite 'posh' in those days. I've got aunts, uncles and cousins still living there. I've always visited since I was a kid, right through to my adult life.I am frequently in Maghull and know it quite well. There are some very pleasant places, and nice walks by the canal, but it just doesn't appeal to me.

I'm always glad to get back to civilization in Liverpool, ha,ha.

My mum lived in Maghull, first in Station Road, and then Liverpool Road South, which runs at the back of this town hall, I must admit it is rather ugly. My brother has lived in Maghull since the 70s, but he lives a bit further along LRS, by the canal and The Hare and Hounds.

There's an old part of Maghull by where Frank Hornby lived, it's quite olde and leafy there. There's also some big houses by the Meadows pub but that town hall is yuk.

Yes, I've taken photos around there. It's a nice walk down from the station along there, but it's not a place I'd choose to live.

That's because you are used to all the *h*te everywhere. Litter along Walton is really bad. It's a tatty place.
You won't see that around the shops in Maghull because the Sefton council and the people take some pride in their area.
