A great storefront for their business. Thanks Joe.

Remember the shouting of "Wally" at gigs! Apparently,it got started at the Weeley festival,in '71,where someone had lost his mate, little did he know he'd become a minor legend, for a few years at least! Have you been in the "Crosskeys" lately? Very upmarket, where "take your own" cost me £3!!!!!
I'm having a clear out of my memory card so apologies if I've already posted them before

Nice pics. The second photo is of Thomas Parr's house, built c.1799. According to James Stonehouse he used to boast that he had "the handsomest house, wife and horse in Liverpool".
At least he had the decency not to put his wife last.

Thanks mate, yea I'd heard a similar story although it was the guys dog that was called Wally. I know that when we all went "abroad," to festivals or gigs then we used to shout it on the train or station or motorway service area to identify and locate if there were any other "heads," around.
Cross Keys, I aint been there since the day I got my long hair cut off in 1976, I walked in with my new crew cut and everyone fell around laughing...including the girl I loved, who promptly copped off with a mate of mine who still had his proud mane, I was heartbroken !! I never went back there. Is the St Pauls still there ? I aint been around that area since the 1970's.
Hi Angus,
either way,dog or man,Wally got his 15 minutes of fame!
As for losing the hair,I lasted till '78,when I was asked to give my sister away,on condition it went! Afterwards,I got told I looked like Noel Edmonds, and promptly went looking for a cut-throat razor Had a look for the St. Paul's,and unfortunately it's gone, with not a trace left,it seems!
