It destroys the view from the albert dock, but who cares since it'll be premium leasing space since it's got a great view over the dock

When I first saw it, I thought it looked bad from the shore and would ruin the view from the river.
However, returning to the Pier Head on the ferry, I think they did a good job.
The black color just blends in and does not distract from the Three Graces.
If they must put a big building there, at least they did not detract too much from the famous Liverpool postcard view.
I think it's fab
Yes to most of the above but not on that site.Anything built between the dock and the Pier Head should be in keeping with the area.Buildings like that should only have been built south of the dock or north of the Liver Buildings. It has taken away one hell of a view when driving in to town from the south.

Should lose it's heritage status for this infidel building!
And a GTA style explosion should be autorised to blow it from the face of the docks!
Gididi Gididi Goo.
I like what they're doing down there. It's better than what was there and it will be spectacular when it's finished.
I am not against building on that site either, just something that fits in.

Nice one Howie.
They seem to be making really good progress since I was there in November....
Is there some sort of incentive scheme going for the builders?....

IThanks for the photos Howie, proves my point. How did it get passed planning? It's gone from seeing the stuning MD &HB to a black glass thing. It's a disgrace

But, as I said before, it doesn't look bad from the Mersey side... I think the two level ferry terminal is more distracting from the Three Graces view.

In a way I don't want everyone to like it.
It's not bland enough for that.
