Thank you SO MUCH, Quincy, for sharing these WONDERFUL pics and your great - and often hilarious - comments!

There's no place like Liverpool - and no people like the Scousers! Simply wonderful!

Btw, I think it's wonderful that you have mounted police over there - here we hardly ever see any.

How many Superlambananas are there now? I only remember the one, the big yellow one which used to stand near/on Mann Island (?) on the right-hand side, coming from Lord Street and crossing the Strand.
thank you, I decided to keep it going as I got quite a few email requests to do so.
as for the SLBs there's a frame work one at Garston now which is permanent. Quite a few mini ones are staying in different locations. most of the other 126 are being auctioned.

Oh yes do keep it going if you can...it is most enjoyable to see your photo's.....I especially enjoyed the ones you took in my old birthplace of Crosby.....for me your photo's..like many others on the board are a wonderful trip down memory lane.....will save me having to go and visit everywhere when I next get up for a visit.....plus my hubby is also enjoying seeing them....

Seconded, thirded and fourthed - your pics are brilliant fun! By the way, do you ever actually spend any time at home?! You seem to be taking pics of the most diverse parts of Liverpool about 24 hours a day. Should we have a whip-round for you for a new pair of shoes?

    Kind of gathered that
but how does she manage to be in about 6 places at once?! One minute she's in Southport, the next minute she's been beamed up in Edge Hill... There must be a secret. Rocket-powered Superquince?

LOL oh I wish. a rocket pack would be fab, although not having a head for heights could scupper that plan a bit.

I usually gather the street life pics over a couple of weeks and a lot of the other pics are not posted in the order I took them. I take so many pics I sometimes forget what I have.

even my Cockney born hubby is learning about Liverpool during our travels. it keeps both of us out of mischief, well apart from him frightening dogs on buses .

Big Bang machine scientists delayed when one of them drops the pound coin as he's putting it in the slot

the Anoraks Anonymous meet was a huge let down

toffee paper - this guy was diagonally opposite me on the bus...couldn't believe my luck when he turned the page of his Echo

parking along here is a mare

aliens only - especially if they are wearing 1 boot and 1 flipper

and I wonder if Tomo got fined for putting a bin bag on the door instead of a wheelie bin!

Well all I can say there are worse things we could be than a forum anoraks.

What would we all be doing if we were not viewing or taking photo's?
