    Default West Derby-Knotty Ash Boundary

Ok guys, another boundary question I have to pose...niggling away at me after walking around Eaton Road.

So where does Knotty Ash become West Derby? I thought Central Drive onto Alvanley Road?

    Ideas and pointers greatly received!

Try this definition. Parish boundary of St John's Church, Knotty Ash

    Thanks for that Taffy!

The parish boundaries make alot of sense indeed! If there's one problem with suburbia, it is that in the case of Knotty Ash and West Derby, they seem to merge into one. I don't recall seeing a name-plate ever gracing Eaton or Leyfield Roads in recent times. If the council were to erect boundary markers, it would be interesting to note where they would be placed.

Look at Dovecot and Page Moss - boundaries seem strange there too.

This is outside the Willowbank pub on the corner of Priory Road and Breck Road ,it seems to be used as an ashtray judging by the cigarette ends in it

Ah GD, you've been in my neck of the woods, I saw your pub pic of the Richmond, Breck rd - I might have passed you in the street GD. here is the same boundary marker in this thread (scroll down) -

I have walked past that boundary marker billions of times in my life .. going to school, going to the shops, etc, ... going to the pub in fact !
