    Exclamation Reciprocal Friendships Between Users

As part of our new social networking system, users can now request that people on their buddy list confirm their friendship, after which time a person's list of confirmed friends will be viewable to other users.

This is a similar feature to Facebook, its there should you wish to use it, 'tis a bit of fun.

Could it be because the past tense of Sit is sat and Spit is spat , that's why it was decided a twitter message is a tweet? I mean could you really say you'd just tw*tted someone?
