Default Edge Lane bus garage open day

found these whilst rummaging through a box of old photos. my dad had borrowed a very basic camera from someone and took a few pix. most didn't come out. no idea of the year, certainly mid to late 1970's. I remember being rather excited to see the Michelin man. it was a great day out and probably sparked my interest in old transport.
these bring back a wealth of happy memories for me, plus a tear as it makes me realise how much I still miss my dad.

wow great. would love to see more of the event. so any you could dig out would be most welcome.
I should have another pic of me sat on bus steps somewhere, wearing a sad brown anorak. I was 12 going on 13.
