If you all want a laugh, I will be on BBC North West tonight at 6:30pm having been interviewed about Sandfield Tower.

    Cheers all.

Was a tad disappointed with the final edit, I spent a good hour there going over all the history and did lots of talking and pointing at things, plus gave them footage of the interior which they didn't use either, but I'm happy that I got something out of it and it's highlighted the building again in a good way.

And that was my poshest voice too

That's what happens - they always edit lots out of these things.

Cad - your 'posh' voice is very nice and you spoke well

I did inform the BBC that I'd love to do something like this on a weekly/monthly basis, mug up on an old building, knock up a small website and then present my findings but it fell on deaf ears but I'm happy that it was on TV and that people will be able to find the building in a search engine.

    That was my telephone voice

Thank you Lindy! I don't think I can do any more to promote this building and just hope that someone sits up and takes note before it does fall to the ground. Maybe I should just set up a tent in there and claim squatters rights after a few years!
