    Default Woolton Tesco

Tesco in Woolton will expand [first-floor extension] by about one-third, with about 30 parking spaces lost as a result.

Tesco must contribute £300,000 towards improvements to the area between the store and the centre of Woolton, such as new road signs, lighting, paving and CCTV.

I saw that they had put in plans for expansion, but they were more modest than that, just coming out on each wing to make a flat front so no loss of parking places, they must have re submitted after they got the go ahead for that.
I see that they have just started ripping up the all weather pitch on Mather Avenue to expand the Tesco there

I didn't like Tesco in Woolton. I've only ever been about 5 times, the other big shop in the middle of the village was better. And then there's Morrisons in Belle Valle and that was cheaper - with more offers than I have fingers and toes.

Gordon Ramsey went to that Tesco as well (for the TV show about bad resturants)and ranted about it being poor until the lines in his face almost fell off.

Better going to Woolton Tescos and Sainburies, no big queues.

    Default Sainsbury's have Dress Rehearsal

It's the only Dress Rehearsal in the Country & it's in Sainsbury's Woolton Store. Although it is a very small Sainsbury's with no Coffee Shop or Hot Food counter, nevertheless, it's worth a visit to go to Dress Rehearsal... they sell women's fashion that's different, wearable, tasteful, good quality & unbelievably affordable.
