    Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! I win!

[QUOTE=Ron_S;119347]I have now found a record for the second photo I recently posted which was a station between Exchange and Southport with a footbridge. It was photographed on the 4th of June 1977 and was taken at - FRESHFIELD.

My thoughts too, a terrible shame about the ''preserved'' 502 being left to rot

A few more of hall rd, A pair of motor coaches,in the siding at the back of the depot. On the other side of the depot looking back to the sta, and a 1940's view looking towards southport. this was the changeover period between the ex L&Y stock & the new derby built LMS stock

    thanks,
I think the second station is Orrell Park.

    Default Freshfield not Orrell Park

Its unlikely to be Orrell Park. I have photos taken there too just a few years later in 1980. That station is low down (at track level) relative to the road.
