    More Garston Nameplates...to compliment Quincies...

    Harbour Drive or Marlowe Close???

This was somewhat interesting; It's not often our streetnames give a little bit of local history!

Not a mode of streetname-plate design normally used in Liverpool...bit worn after 20 years service!

All taken on Thursday...on me old camera!

just shows how many interesting signs there are knocking about. I've never seen any with info on like those in Garston.

this is one of my fave things to look for along with signage and carvings on buildings.

Here's another one with the postal number (8) as part of the original design.
I don't know why I've never noticed it before, because I pass it quite often.

my bionic eye tells me that unlike the Old Garston Rd one, South Hill St also has a full stop after the 8.

there's one a few streets from me I noticed today on the way back from Somerfield with the number in the design . it's an old style one and the number is not as bold. I'll do a pic on my way out tomoz.

unusual to get 2 old ones on same street around here
    pre-postcode

post-postcode...notice the number built into design is smaller than the Caryl Grove and Old Garston Rd ones. there's quite a few of these 21 signs about but most are in poor condition.

old and new, handy as it was by bus stop on my way out

Jalons Bridewell: This appears to be an information sign, but it has a postal code.
