Mobile Phone Masts
Just a thought about the growing problem of phone masts. I don't dispute that they are needed and there isn't much you can do about roof mounted ones, but I would like to see every mast disguised in some way, either by painting them (black/green) or disguising them as trees or lamp posts.
They seem to be cropping up everywhere and they are starting to seriously damage our streetscape.
The latest Mobile Phone mast is inside the tower at St Barnabas, Penny Lane.
I'll be there next week so I'll get a picture or two.
Did a Google on "Tree Mast" and came up with this >>>>
Some nice looking masts here. Why ca'nt they all look like that ?
In the days when we had nothing we had fun.
If tomorrow starts without me, remember I was here.
I was in Surfers Paradise on the gold coast Australia a few years ago, they have them disguised as palm trees, obviously that wouldn't be a goer in liverpool but it would be dead easy not to make them stand out
This is my local Orange mast....
Fir enough but it's green not orange
I'm obviously barking up the wrong tree.
metal trees always go rusty at the bottom, you know why ? , ask the dogs
