This might refresh your memory, They had a daughter called June and a son a bit younger, can't remember his name.

I can remember someone asking about Dwerryhouse Street. This is from Dec. 2006. This was at the very edge of Toxteth, and has since been demolished.

Somebody asked me to photograph 15 Granby street as his wife was born there, it was Sid's cafe in the 1960s. Hoever, Granby st only seems to start at No.35 these days. Did it once run from Upper Parly as I notice you now have to go up Mulgrave st, do a left into Selbourne then a right into Granby where it starts with the newsagents on the corner - ie No.35.

Anyway, some pics from todays visit to the LRO and the Granby area.

    Ged,
Sids cafe was almost opposite my shop. Granby had weird numbering on my side, I was the 6th shop from Parly and my address was 6A. The numbering on the other side was conventional. There were 2 houses, then a vacant site with advertising hoardings then I think 2 more houses, maybe 3. The first was occupied by the Pope family and the second by an arabic family whose name I cant recall. Next was a greengrocer owned by a Mr. Charlie Parr, later bought By Secunda Ali. next was Sids Cafe. Unfortunately I only have a pic of my side of the street.

When we started Neighbourhood Housing Services we took over a cobblers shop - about halfway along on the right hand side - opposite "Auntie Jean's" chippie.

Ged, on your site is says:
"Blundell Street also still exists as mainly warehouses off Jamaica Street. It was to here in the 1881 census that my great great grandad can be traced. His great great grandson, moi, around 100 years later hung around Soho Square which can be seen on the next picture."

This week we found that my great, great grandmother lived at 33 Blundell St in 1875.
