    I was there a few months ago taking a pic of it for my website pubs page and found it a strange place for a pub, though there's a lot of new trendy apartments at Cornhill.

    A good YO friend of mine has just traced my Irish rellies to Blundell Street in the late 1800s.

    The 1916 date is interesting.
    Apart from being quite late for that traditional style of warehouse, it was right in the middle of World War I.
