    Post Old Registry Office

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a pic of the old Registry Office in Liverpool. I'm told it had beautiful big doors & was a beautiful building. I can't remember exactly where it is but it was still used until only a few years ago.....so I'm told.

Do you mean Brougham Terrace, West Derby Road?
If nobody comes up with a photo, I'll go there in the next couple of days.
I've taken loads of photos of the Olympia, Grafton Rooms, and even the former Savoy cinema, but never any of the Registry Office.

I think that's the one, I think it started with a 'B'. Do you know how long it was a Registry Office? I am looking for the one where Registry Office marriages where held in the 1800's.

I thought the Registry Office was the white Georgian building/Mosque to the left of the West Derby Union Offices (the red-brick building pictured above).

I was just checking, as I've never been in any of those buildings. I went up there recently to take a few pics, but these buildings always seem to be back-lit by the Sun when I go.

Is Brougham Terrace the Register Office in Liverpool South', or was that a different place/building?

Thanks Steve, I've since found out that the Old Hall Street Office has now relocated to St George's Hall.

Liverpool South District, was covered by the Register Office on Mount Pleasant, where John Lennon and Cynthia Powell were married.
