To be honest, I was there quite by accident and didn't have my camera but obviously did have my phone. My pics are not dissimilar to AK1's but his are better so enjoy those

I got there just a bit too late.
So pleased there's going to be another tomorrow, so I'll definitely be there then.
    Great photos, folks.

I've got some old postcards I want to take "Now" shots of.
    They'll be in "Old Liverpool".

    Thanks Ged.
I'll take you up on that!
Because yesterday's visit was an historical occasion, and I really should have "shifted my butt".

I know how you feel, it could easily have been me kicking myself because I sort of just stumbled upon it and thought 'hey, what the hell's that' I thought they'd built another building in record time when I saw the size of it from The Strand.

He said: “Few cities in the world have arrival points in the heart of the city. You think of Sydney, Manhattan, Venice and now Liverpool.

Where those boats look really huge is when there is a central Atrium and you look down from the top deck, one I was on had the lifts in the atrium on the wall, it was a bit scary looked like you were standing on the edge of a 12 story building.

    Nice pics Phillip.

Hearty looking pictures, PhilipG. I have just got back from Princes Dock and it was packed.
