Default Does anyone remember a Bakery on Byrom Street?

I was wondering if anyone remembered any Bakery shops on Byrom Street possibly near to Great Crossall street. My Grandfather used to manage one there in the area but I have very little information about it/him. He would have probably been there in the 1940s and 50s. Many thanks.

There was Sykes which became Scotts which was on the corner of Byrom Street and Addison Street under Fontenoy Gardens.

Look up Fontenoy Gardens/Other tenements on my site below and you will see pictures of it.

Thanks Ged, so many pictures. Is there a photo that you can pinpoint where the shop was? I do believe it became Scotts.
