Photo taken appropriately in Church St Liverpool. Sadly the Church, St Peter's , has long since been demolished.

St Peter's became the Pro cathedral for Liverpool and demolished around 1920when the new Liverpool cathedral was in a usable state.

It's the Merseyside School of Evangelism in the outer circle, then "God Loves You" inside this.

Not sure if there is a Merseyside god, perhaps each of the three football teams. Then there's Max's references to the "god-like" zoom on his camera !!

    Hi Taffy

This is a very fine photograph, with the wording on the sign and the male bystanders as well as the big photograph of the young lady behind and the head of the man poking out of the doorway above the religious sign. Well done, Taffy.

Thanks. It was quick snap as people were constantly moving about in front of the banner. Lucky to get it really.

In Germany the people use English words if they want to be hip. Or if they're making any flag or poster. But but the hell, do the English if they want to be hip?

The English could try Latin or French to make something special, couldn't they?

Superb photo. The Parr family have long established Liverpool roots. The earliest I have them is 1690. Parr's bank seems to have had its origins in Warrington.
