some notes about Joseph Williams CP school

Joseph Williams CP was the first school to be built in Liverpool after the war
it opened on 26th August 1949 & closed in 1997

Sir Paul McCartneys name appears in the admission register on the 23 August 1950.two years later he left to attend the Liverpool Institute.His brother Michael,better known as Mike McGear ,came to the school from 28 August 1951 to August 1955 when he too left to go to the institute

Les Dennis also attended the school in 1961

Has anyone got a photo of former boys school Anfield comp which was built in the 1960s in Breckside Park, L6 ? it was demolished approx early 1980s.

Has anyone out there got any pics of dovedale road juniors in the 1960's??? Maybe any school photos or does anyone know a sight i can look on ??? Oh and welcome back lindylou-not been on for a bit and just spotted lindylou back-thank goodness.
