Whoah - that's spooked me out!
    It's definitely not a hoax?
Tom Slemen will be on the case.

    Ged.
I can't see anything on the colour photo, and are you trying to tell us something with this?

Can't you see the little girl's face between the legs Philip? Or is it just me? Now I'm really spooking myself!

Ha ha, no, i'm not that devious Philip, I spelt Picture wrong in my haste earlier so did edit it and explained in case anyone was wondering why.

I'm a sceptic too so i'm looking for reasons for it not to be a ghost.

The black and white version of it, I posted in case it was hard to see the face on the colour one. My daughter tried to show it to someone in work today who'd already seen it (but described it as originating in Skem?) so it's obviously doing the rounds and i've asked her to try and get to the bottom of it.

    Thanks, Ged.
You'll probably remember that I once said photos on my PC seem darker than they should, and I never did manage to solve the problem.
I can see the face on the B&W pic.

Ged, I'm confused now ( as usual !)

the photo was taken by your daughter's friend - yes? In West Derby did you say? (in pal's house I presume)
... but someone is saying that it originated in Skem ???

It's a good try that one Ged but you can see the 'square' where it has been pasted in.

I've done a crappy edit to point where the layer is (it's a rectangle additional layer on top that sits on the photo)

It is spooky, i have 'presences' in my house. My husband and myself have seen them, but not as clear as that. I have had someone in who has confirmed things for us. We don't bother about them (there are 2). We have door handles move, light switches sound as though they are going on and off (even though they are flat and remote) and some smells.I actually know who one of them is, a previous tennant. He took his own life here. Was there not just another child there? Maybe double exposure from another photo?

Hiya Lindy, my daughter's mate supplied it to her but did not take it herself, she herself was sent it and was told it was taken in someones house in West Derby who, when this was pointed out to them are going to do some research into the house.

It was someone else who told my daughter 'Oh yes, i've seen that, it originates from Skem', so maybe it does, maybe it doesn't, i'm trying to get to the source of it by asking my daughter to contact the person who sent her it (the person was in our house last weekend) to see who they got it off (supposedly one of the girls in the photo)

Well if it is, it's not a good try by me as i'm only asking the question?

Any discrepencies in the photo will show up better on the b&w version which is why we got in on that mode on the moby and we also put it into negative mode and it also shows up. Can anybody else see the alleged square?

How about what look like hands either side of the legs to the left and right of the face?

If it's a hoax, it certainly fooled me (mind you, I will believe anything.)

Hoax or not it sure is spooky. I blew it up and examined the pixels and although I had segs on my eyeballs, I could not see the 'join.'

look at the box Cadfael has drawn. On the left hand vertical yellow line, look at the first mark down. Then look right and from this and a straight line can be clearly seen.

Also look at the right hand side - the 'ghost' picture is layered over the blue jeans - you can see this by the corner of the picture overlapping the jeans on the right hand side. Along this side is a grey 'line' - follow the left leg of the blue jeans slowly and you'll come to a grey line within the yellow box.

It's a good try but it's two pictures.

Looks like you could be right there Cad, and if you look at the right hand vertical yellow line, 2nd mark down, to its right there is a smaller square box which could be an attempt to put in one of the hands that appear around the leg of the girl.
