Liverpool -- 5 December 2007 -- Hard Days Night Hotel is to be featured on a new Liverpool Monopoly board even before opening. The four star boutique hotel will be included in the orange set of properties, despite still being in the latter stages of construction.

The new edition, which seeks to celebrate 'European Capital of Culture 2008' status, will feature a 'Beatles Corner', including the famous Cavern Club, the childhood homes of John Lennon and Sir Paul McCartney, as well as Hard Days Night Hotel, which is valued at 200.

Graham Barnes, promoter of Monopoly, said, "Liverpool's contribution to European culture cannot be underestimated and the board will be crammed with icons of this new culture."

"We have conducted extensive research and have discovered that the Beatles are more popular than ever internationally. We expect demand for this board to be exceptionally high when it hits shop shelves."

Trevor Lynn, developer of Hard Days Night Hotel, added, "The interest from the press and public in Hard Days Night Hotel has been phenomenal. Our inclusion on this Monopoly board when the hotel is still under construction just goes to show the level of anticipation in the project."
