    Question Everton Street Search

    Hello,

Can anyone with an old street directory / map or long memory tell me where Lennox Street and Thorndale Street (both L6, I think) used to be please?

    Thanks,
    WB.

Lennox Street (L7) started at Solomon Street, which started at Minto Street.
Thorndale Street (L5) started at 112 St Domingo Road.

    Both from 1936 directory.
55 Lennox Street is the only property listed in that street.

    Thumbs up

Thanks very much for the info and rapid response Philip.

Looks like I've been focussing on the wrong area of the old maps (most of my family's addresses were in the West Derby Rd area).

    Regards,
    WB.
