Reeces dairy, Ainsworth Street off Brownlow Hill by the Adelphi. This was lying derelict for a long time and has now bitten the dust.

The Bedford cinema. This probably should have been saved because it was one of only 2 or 3 original facades from that period remaining in Britain. A wasteland now stands here but I know it better from buying a 3 piece suite out of there in the 1990s.

The Central Library in William Brown street just before closing for its revamp.

And what is looked like a few weeks ago, they're up to 1st floor level now but quite some way to go to the finishing line.

And how it's suppossed to look when completed.

The Easby on the Easby estate. The whole estate is coming down at the moment.

The Holt has now gone and the new Holt occupies the old bank on the opposite corner.

Old Swan Tech, Broadgreen Road. My old mate from Old Swan attended here in the late 70s. Spike has a series of the demolition on his cracking site.

You could fill a few forums with what has now gone.

    The Hamlet Hotel.

The Clifford pub on Scottie..Is it Athol Street at its side?

I believe this one on Vauxhall road has now gone too.The Feathers.

You won't see this view again either, the three ugly sisters in 1979

You take them for granted - until one day they're gone!
