I never saw the 1970's one - it was before my time - but I agree, I don't at all like the way the Three Graces are obscured by the terminal when seen from the river.

I agree. I think it should only be a maximum of 2 storeys high. The third storey does obscure quite a big chunk of the graces.

Does it even need to be that? Can't they just have a small single-storey ticket office, and move the restaurant elsewhere? Especially now there's loads of developments either side where they'd get plenty of custom.

Why are they building something so big? It just seems really silly! It looks bloody ugly too. With the technology we have now they could of made a rather more realistic CGI impression, even The Sims has better cgi than that picture.
I wonder if he'll make me crawl. I wonder how far I might fall. I'm stuck beneath my skin I don't know who to blame for this mess I'm in. Involuntarily falling to my knees another victim of heart disease. Another Night without a dark tunnel, stay in bed so I can't be stolen. And everything revolves around the fear of my fate. Everyday a little closer to death.

Certainly all change at the Pier Head. I remember when I used to get the bus home from there in the '80's.

Went for a meal up there once when it was the restaurant. Seemed like a lovely place too with a view. Bah to the council.
