Outside the Lord Warden at 10.15

This is where I meet the lads who were in 208 medic corps, Crawford House, Upper Warwick Street throughout the 80s, 90s and noughties and who served in Basra.

Every year I get asked by people abroad if |I can place
a poppy on a relatives CWGC headstone in Anfield Cem.
I do this at no charge, but I was amazed that the CWGC
cross of sacrifice had NO poppies at all, yet the 2 18oo,s
VC winners stones by the NC chapel had 3 on each stone
    We will remember them, really

Yes I noticed that Steve, we were in the cemetery on Sunday and I was expecting a service of some kind tbh.....but there were just a few people putting their own poppies at the memorial.

well done on placing the poppies...........
