My second time to Liverpool.. I came in on plateform 7.. the train from London to Lime Street..

I found the Train system there phanomenal.
Amazing those pics. Thanks Mike for sharing..

We take for granted sometimes, the work that goes into this form of transport And this replica, is a piece of well deserved recognition to both the workers of such a craft.. and to the Art hobbiest that have put this tribute together.. Well, done.. would like to see it too....

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for that photo of the Deltic prototype and the engine on the turntable at Lime Street Station, I have been looking for photos of the turntable for several years, its a great shot especially with the Deltic, I do not think it visited Liverpool very often,
I am also going to go to see the model layout of Lime Street, your photos look very good,

    Thanks again,
    Peter.

    Regards,
    Peter.

Assuming you have Windows, put cursor in the picture, right-click and then on menu you'll see "save picture as". Click that and away you go.

    Hi Peter,

    its from classic railway newsreels,

its a sort of blink and you miss it moment, but its a great dvd, all the old movietone adverts from years ago featuring railway clips
